K2 graduated from kindergarten Thursday night after a blessed year taught by one of the most blessed women we know. Ms. Scarborough celebrated her 25th year of teaching kindergarten this year and we are so glad Katie was able to be in her class. It was a small class of only 9 students which enabled them all to grow closer and experience more together and individually.
Ms. Scarborough gives each student a special note from her the day they graduate, just a little excerpt:
"We look back over this kindergarten year - how far we've come! But this is just the beginning of a life-long journey of learning and becoming. It isn't always easy, but God is with you and the rewards greatly outweight any discouraging moments.....Tonight wear your cap and gown and little gold pin with a heart full of thankfulness for a great, great, great kindergarten year. Love, Mrs. Scarborough"
I am so very thankful for Katie and the wonderful teacher and year that she had - I just blinked!
