Wow, so much catching up to do!

I've been meaning to get back to blogging and have had avoidance behavior for some reason - I have no idea why. Such a great way to record memories. The last year or so has had many ups and downs including the loss of dear friends and others who are battling cancer to this date. So, I've decided to rekindle my excitement of blogging and begin (again) recording random things. This past weekend was fun - the girls finished up their last cheer competition of the year at Splash Adventure

After the park, we headed to the Short's house for a crawfish boil to celebrate Connor's 17th birthday - my how time flies! Here he is 17 years ago:

Today was somewhat eventful - call from K2's school nurse that she was complaining of right ear pain - checked her out early this afternoon and headed to the MD - they recommended a brain MRI given her 1+ year history of headaches (CT scan in November was negative) - I obliged since I am quite perplexed over her headaches and would love, love, love to know beyond shadows of doubts that there's nothing wrong with the precious head - K1 and I were both in the room with her during the MRI and she did great. I held her hand and prayed and counted blessings all at the same time that my children are (and remain by the grace of God) healthy. Taking nothing for granted today. Hope to know the results tomorrow - given an rx today for right ear infection.
